Ferrari 458 Italia is the latest masterpiece from Maranello
July 29, 2009 by: My Way

While it’s been known that the Ferrari 430 was on its way out—and that myriad spy shots were captured of its replacement—we didn’t yet know all the details of its successor. Until now.
The stunning new Ferrari 458 Italia will succeed the famed 430, and it will use a new direct-injected V-8 producing 570 hp at 9000 rpm and 398 lb-ft of torque at 6000 rpm. Ferrari estimates the new 458 is expected to reach 62 mph in under 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 202 mph. Power will be delivered through an F1-style seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission.
